Stan's Cafe website: Stan's Cafe are a Birmingham based theatre group with a wide range of innovative shows and projects. They wanted a website that was able to represent their work in a coherent and easy manner, but without losing the eclectic feel.
Stan's Cafe and St Albans school: A website showing the results of a class project to redesign the school. The redesign project utilised areas such as maths and physics to encourage the children to think about the role of these aspects within any redesign. The main menu design of the website takes the form of a school layout, with blocks representing the differents tasks.
Stan's Cafe book: A book design showcasing one of their most successful shows 'Of all the people in all the world'. The show is an exhibition that uses rice to represent people in showing a wide range of statistics. The book uses a simple design to complement the photography and words.
Stan's Cafe Transitions 2 Trinity project: A website for children about to start at Holy Trinity school in Birmingham. The website shows a wide range of information about their new school, allowing them to explore areas and see pictures. It also shows some of the pupils themselves and how they changed over the 3 years of the project.
A City Adventure: This is an exercise based on creative learning and risk taking. A group of participants complete a series of tasks based within a city such as Birmingham. This CDrom design is a record of the day and the completed tasks. The main menu interface shown above shows the location and overview of each of the 15 tasks.
